Liturgy of the Word For Children - 19th Anniversary

Crystal joined in the choir at the Sunset Mass to celebrate the 19th Anniversary for the Liturgy Of The Word For Children. The Children's Liturgy choir has been practicing for a month (once a week) in preparation for the Ordination of our new Coadjutor Archbishop, the Most Reverend John Wong on the 1st October and the 19th Anniversary celebration on 9th October 2010.

Crystal loves and enjoys being in the choir. She looked forward to the weekly practices though she is exhausted after a long school and tuition sessions during the day.

She was selected to represent the Children Liturgy to deliver an introductory speech during the Ordination of Archbishop John Wong. It was a challenge for her as the scripts of the speech kept changing and she still managed to memorize it within 2 days. To me she has done a very good job. The experiences in delivering speeches on stage which she gained during her kindergarten years has indeed gave her the confidence. Praise the Lord for His guidance.

Final practice on last Sunday
The Children's Liturgy choir singing the recessional hymn, "Be Exalted, O God".
Each of the choir members received a token of appreciation for the anniversary celebration, Pearl got her share too even though she is not in the choir yet.

The flowers are from the Aunties and Uncles in the Ministry

The goodies pack and the flowers

I helped them to put the flower in this glass bottle (a Holicks bottle :D). The flowers will last longer with water rather than in the wrapper.
