Pearl went dancing on the stage of Yayasan Sabah Auditorium last Saturday along with about 30 of her dancing class mates.
They were 27 kindergartens participated in this once in two years event organised by the Head of Kindergartens Association. The kindergartens from outskirt of Kota Kinabalu also took part in this performance. The nearer ones were from Menggatal, Telipok, Tamparuli, some as far as Ranau. It is a challenge to organise a group of kindergarten kids for performance especially from outstation.
Pearl really loves her Indian's costume and very proud and confident of her dancing. She has grown from stage fear to like on stage dancing in just a few months. We still remember that she refused to sing on stage with her fellow classmates during the school Chinese New Year celebration. She cried and shouted the loudest at the back stage when teacher tried to line her up on stage. I have to carry the tearful Pearl away from the stage. Pearl, daddy & mummy are really proud of your first time performance on a stage, with hundreds of audience. (when you know how to read this blog next time). Keep up the good work!
