Happy 4th Birthday to my little Pearl

Pearl turned 4 years old last month.

I have been very busy only now that I have got the chance to post the occasion here. She has got 2 birthday cakes this year, one to celebrate in the school, she requested a purple colour one, we use to call her Pearl Pearl sounded like "Purple" so she wants her stuff to be in purple as well. :D
The other cake was especially made by SIL for Pearl, she cut the cake after a dinner at Pizza Hut where she would normally eat lots of parmesan cheese with everything she eats, same goes to Crystal.

Both computers occupied

This is the normal scene at home. A desk top and a notebook are no longer enough for us anymore. They are fighting over a computer all the time. One would like to watch her favourite movie in youtube and the other wants to play games on disney channels. At last, daddy gave up on his notebook just to have a peace of mind.

Pearl continues on her game of the disney channel even during her nen nen time.

The only time for us to use the computer is when they are watching their DVDs and asleep. That's why I hardly have got the chance to blog, well after all I am on my household chaos most of the time, except on weekends that I could sleep a bit late to blog.

Wanted to be a little artist

While I was busy preparing dinner one evening, Crystal came in the kitchen to tell me that she wanted to draw a scenery around the house, asking whether she can put her table outside for her "project". I said, yes..ok!
what I did not realise was she carried her table too far, it was almost near the gate. And Pearl joined in too...
A passion in drawing

It was nearly 7pm and getting dark. I asked them to end their project, pack and go inside the house. They refused at first, not until the mosquitoes came visit them. Pearl started scratching because of the mosquito bites, Crystal got some bites here and there too. With that, I guess they knew it was not a good idea to have outdoor drawing session at the time of the day.

At the function of eXfuze

We brought our girls to the eXfuze function at the Palace Hotel Kota Kinabalu when the eXfuze officials were here on 14 August 2009. This was the 3rd time we brought them along to the eXfuze functions. This time my mum came along too.

They roamed around the function hall, played at the reception area. I have to keep an eye on them all the time cos they refused to sit down quietly in the function hall.

They said they were hungry when they saw the food being placed in the warmer and they became the first to enjoy the refreshment for the night. We were supposed to have our dinner at the hotel restaurant before the function but we did not know that there were groups of young athletes from Asia countries were having their dinner at the hotel as well, we have to cancel our orders after a long wait, imagine the kitchen have not even started cooking our orders after waited for 20 minutes. Crystal & Pearl were screaming hungry luckily Clet got some cheese cakes ready for them.

Took a photo with the big banner on the stage

At the reception table. 10 bottles of 750ml eXfuze seven+ superfoods juice to be given away as lucky draw, but we did not get it.

Ha..haha..so very hungry..they were enjoying the food while the function was still on.

Happily got hold of a cup of eXfuze seven+ juice for grandma

Little Artist

Her form teacher has been preparing for Crystal and her classmate for the drawing and colouring competition a couple of months ago to make sure her students are well prepared for it and achieve good results. She has been telling me that Crystal is good in drawing and have to put more afford into her colouring technique. After the semi final the week before, she put very high hope on Crystal to win the competition on Wednesday, 5th August.

As usual I am very concern and kept reminding Crystal of what the teacher's comment was and encouraged her to try her very best. Nowadays, children are very clever, on the way to the school that morning, she demanded for a reward saying that if she could win the competition, she would like to have some new books and toys and the same for her Pearl so that she will not fight with her, very clever thoughts...

I called up the teacher right after the school to find out the results. I was very happy to learn that she got 2nd placing. I rang Clet up to tell him the good news at the same time told him about her reward.

The daddy brought them to a book store supposed to buy books but ended with only toys no books. "sigh"

Have fun a Boo Boo Land, 1 Borneo

The last time we went to 1 Borneo was someway at Chinese New Year time. The main purpose that we went there again 3 weeks ago was to fulfill the promise to bring our girls to their favourite place, that's the Boo Boo Land, the indoor play ground. Like usual we spent most of our time there just to watch them play, running around and jumping about, till they shouted enough.

We were starving after the play ground. There are many restaurants there but the daddy craved for donuts while crystal prefered to have the new macaroni cheese with meat balls at KFC. Like usual the daddy gave way. So we queued at KFC, when came to our turn to place our order for the macaroni, too bad that we were told to wait for 15 minutes, and the girls were starving couldn't wait for another minute, haha, the daddy wish came through, we went for the donuts. Both of us ordered the durian stuffing donuts, Pearl chose the pink strawberry topping, and Crystal chose the one with cheese topping.

Before going home, we bought 3 VCDs. Guess who picked the Michael Jackson one? Cletus did. Crystal picked the Sleeping Beauty, and Pearl chose the Little Einstein. I was tempted to buy some Korean series which were on sale but thought about it, I don't think I got the time to watch them, so might as well drop the idea saving me RM40.00 and the storage space. :D
